Hey I found a temporary solution. Simply roll back your steamworks plugin to version 1.15. Download it from here : https://github.com/YoYoGames/GMEXT-Steamworks

Trying to figure out a way to return GMS data types from a C++ extension
So yeah, in the "Extension_Interface.h" my theory was proven right, there is a way to create other GMS data types like buffers, lists or even perform http requests all handled through the C++ extension itself.
