Hey there gang. I'm going to test out the limits of my clone GDEMU - update the sd card from 128gb to 512gb and fit the entire DC library (with compression where possible). Any tips?
Definitely use sonic's Card Manager (test version) to do the build of the card. https://github.com/sonik-br/GDMENUCardManager/releases/tag/testing It supports both gdmenu and openmenu and will display titles instantly on the menu.

The version you're using really only effects game compatibilty. You're going to use this tool here to arrange your games on the SD card: https://github.com/sonik-br/GDMENUCardManager. Setting it up manually is not practical or necessary.

You have to format your SD card to be in the correct structure for GDMENU. Use GDMENU Card manager.

Ensuring your GDEmu games will boot on first try - A Bullet list.
Get the appropiate software for preparing/checking your files: gdidrop -> Converts Redump's .cue to .gdi. Note that if you're low on space or if you have similarly named files to what it's outputting when converting, it just crashes. GD MENU Card Manager-> Replacement for the shitty SD Card Manager, except this one works perfectly. GD-ROM Explorer -> If this program opens your .gdi or .cdi, the GDEmu is guaranteed to boot the game. Also useful for rebuilding/fixing some things, like Shenmue's Undub Disc 3, which is detected as Disc 2.
