I doubt that. For online matchmaking it has something called zerotier integrated. If you want battle.net, see https://github.com/diasurgical/devilution. It doesn't have any of the improvements in 'X' tho.

Devilution port for the switch with all files included!
I have just released my port of devilution (open source diablo 1 engine) to the switch with all of the necessary files included! You no longer need to search for the required files yourself in order to play all of diablo 1. I have submitted it to the homebrew appstore and am awaiting approval. Whats the actual reason for limiting the tabs on stash space?
Here's the diablo 2 save file format. The most complex items take around 32 bytes. Do the math, even if someone somehow had half a million items, it would only take 3MB of space, which is nothing. There's no server issue with item count.
