I doubt that. For online matchmaking it has something called zerotier integrated. If you want battle.net, see https://github.com/diasurgical/devilution. It doesn't have any of the improvements in 'X' tho.

Devilution port for the switch with all files included!
I have just released my port of devilution (open source diablo 1 engine) to the switch with all of the necessary files included! You no longer need to search for the required files yourself in order to play all of diablo 1. I have submitted it to the homebrew appstore and am awaiting approval. Solo and Noob friendly loot filter
Makes sense, in that case you should definitely use plugy if you're not already otherwise you won't be able to do ubers and there'll be no shared stash. BetweenWalls has pre-configured plugy for pd2 s7 at https://github.com/BetweenWalls/PD2-PlugY just in case you haven't come across it before.
