    looks pretty solid but might be a bit too high level for me. I have to take a deeper dive into the code to see if it would work for me. for now I found FreeTypeSharp (which I'm not really happy with aswell) which seems to work for now but FontStashSharp seems to have some quite useful features build in.

    Also thanks to your suggestion I've found SixLabors.Fonts again (which I've seen before but didn't remember its name) which might be the library to use for me!
