FlashPatch VS clean-flash-builds

You can use something like Flashpatch to patch the stupid timebomb out of Adobe Flash or you can download a pre-patched version known as CleanFlash which is based on the China exclusive Flash player 34 (which is still supported today) but with the region lock, adware, and timebombs patched out.

Certain projects take advantage of that like Flashpatch which patches out Adobe Flash the DRM in Adobe flash as well as the time bomb and CleanFlash Installer which allows you to install a modified version of Adobe flash from flash.cn without the Geolock and Adware requirement. However if you would like to use any of these projects you will need a legacy browser that supports them like Basilisk, Palemoon, and SeaMonkey Since most modern browsers don't support NPAPI plugins anymore.

If not it still will work with chineese version of flash. Chineese version is kinda crappy, but it does it's job well. Also can you drop me your flash player files? For archives.

Yeah it's called Flashpatch, although you have to have either an out of date browser or one that is compatible with plugins.

I'm stubbornly sticking with classic, period, until the end of time. However, you might have some luck with this or this. Read carefully, consider what you want to do in regards to your browser, your browser's ability to work with flash, etc.

For Games you can use BlueMaxia's Flashpoint or if you need to run Flash in a browser you can use Flashpatch or CleanFlash with Waterfox browser I don't recommend Basilisk or Palemoon because of their lack of browser sandboxing (Those browsers are a disgrace to the Adobe Flash community).

Linux user here, You can download pre-patched Linux versions of CleanFlash from here, this will give you the most up to date Flash version without the Timebomb.

Currently I am Using Ubuntu 20.04. I installed waterfox classic from the website and I installed Adobe Flash Player 34.0.0.137 from Clean-Flash-Builds however when I open the Plugins folder it simply doesn't show up in the list of installed Plugins.
