Up to date way of flashing
Using Ubuntu 22.04 I followed the instructions here: https://github.com/Thore-Krug/Flash-CHIP This only ever resulted in the invalid fastboot option as I explained in my original post. The fix for that was to download an older version of platform-tools and replace the new version that doesn't work, with the older version that does accept the -i command.

Reflash Pocket Chip
Hi, I found my chip that I haven't touched in quite some time. I think at one point I updated the OS to debian it seems to be using the Awesome window manager. I want to change back to the original SW. I found the Thore-Krug github and followed the directions there. I put a jumper between FEL and GND. It took about 30 min trying different USB cables and USB ports before I was able to have it show up in lsusb:

When trying to flash your C.H.I.P. with a script like Thore-Krug's Flash-CHIP or from the CHIP-SDK (download + instructions for that are in this article), you might run into an error like:

Klipper on android TV box
After much digging around i discovered that there are 1 or 2 other roms you can flash but i went with this one. You will flash it slightly differently to the Quadra OS. You flash it to the SD card with the raspberry pi imager then you pop it into your T95 with the keyboard, mouse, and monitor connected. It will run straight from the SD card and you can leave it like that if you like but remember since it's running from removable media, it's not that fast.
