  • One-time pad encryption - what are the downsides?!
    1 project | /r/crypto | 29 Apr 2022
I'm looking into making a one-time pad encryption PWA for sending and receiving messages. So far I've only created the key-generation, encryption and decryption-stuff. But reading an earlier thread here it seemed that some people thought that OTP-encryption had some issues. I'm guessing one issue is that you are not actually verifying the other user? Are there other issues? And how serious would you estimate all of the issues?

What are some alternatives?
