Are All Ender 3 Printers Open Source?
If they have been released, they will be on GitHub. You may find that latest revisions are absent.

What's about to happen with the Creality release
They aren't ripping of without giving back. You can go to GitHub rn and download all files for the Ender 3 and CR-10 etc licensed with GPL3. That is also the reason you find, that pretty much every budget printer looks like a Ender 3 these days. Creality really isn't a company that only takes, they also give back to the community.

Been working on a 3D printing project for the last couple weeks, unfortunately not in time for the nuclear war of 2007. Hopefully Sgt. Colt approves!
As for it not being open source, here’s a GitHub link with everything you need.

creality 4.2.7 board, reusing z Limit switch port as thermistor input passible ?
Creality also open-sourced the Ender 3. I'm on mobile so can't handle most of the file types but their repo at https://github.com/Creality3DPrinting/Ender-3 may have the info OP needs.

Ender3 v2 Very new to this just hooked up my raspberry pi yesterday. When setting Z to 0 it returns No EEPROM
I guess it would be a good start if they would comply with GPL and release their source-code. But apparently even that is too much to ask. Stuff like this is just a joke (and a bad one), and for most of their new stuff they didn't even bother.

I'm currently modeling The Ender 3 so I can print it on the Ender 3, cursed?
About GPL: Its hard to find any code for most (EDIT: Creality) printers right now. E.g., the Ender 5 Pro repo is just a joke (https://github.com/Creality3DPrinting/Ender-5-Pro)
What are some alternatives?
