Are All Ender 3 Printers Open Source?
If they have been released, they will be on GitHub. You may find that latest revisions are absent.

What's about to happen with the Creality release
They aren't ripping of without giving back. You can go to GitHub rn and download all files for the Ender 3 and CR-10 etc licensed with GPL3. That is also the reason you find, that pretty much every budget printer looks like a Ender 3 these days. Creality really isn't a company that only takes, they also give back to the community.

Been working on a 3D printing project for the last couple weeks, unfortunately not in time for the nuclear war of 2007. Hopefully Sgt. Colt approves!

creality 4.2.7 board, reusing z Limit switch port as thermistor input passible ?
Creality also open-sourced the Ender 3. I'm on mobile so can't handle most of the file types but their repo at https://github.com/Creality3DPrinting/Ender-3 may have the info OP needs.
