You can play the original Marathon(s) on Mac, Windows, and Linux now thanks to Aleph One [0]. There's also new scenarios for the engine still being released, like Apotheosis X which came out last year [1].

Can you tell me about games that are only published on their own websites?
Marathon. Bungie doesn't sell the game anymore, but they did upload it to the internet. I linked to Aleph One Sourceport instead though since the original doesn't work on Windows natively.

Never played Marathon before, but I was very inspired by the New Marathon trailer so i made this poster. Definitely going to be reading into some Marathon lore! And giving the originals a go if i can get my hands on them :)
