    "Blurred" might mean out-of-focus? I have used it and they work, but I've only used it in the non-autofocus mode, so it is pre-focused at infinite, which starts at 2-3 feet. You could try long and short distances to see where you are focused. It needs plenty of current as well. You have probably seen https://github.com/0015/ESP32-OV5640-AF. The auto-focus is not necessarily quick or reliable. Video-recorder mode might show you if you are drifting in and out of focus https://github.com/jameszah/ESP32-CAM-Video-Recorder-junior
