GoldHEN v2.3 is out!
Thanks a lot, my ESP32-S2 mini just arrived and this worked out perfectly so far, although I've ended up using the original project instead of that fork and it seems that they already included GoldHEN v2.3 in their last commit.

Currently on 9.00 and running the JB, is there a way to not have to do the USB process every time?
You can use either a RPi (If you have one lying around, impossible to buy for a decent price nowaday) or the better solution : Use a little microcontroller called an ESP32 S2. You follow the instructions and load a little programme from this github page (https://github.com/stooged/ESP32-Server-900u) onto the ESP32 board.

ESP32S2 on 9.00 is the new 5.05 !
There's a bunch of them in this GitHub: https://github.com/stooged/ESP32-Server-900u/tree/main/3D_Printed_Cases I hope you'll find something that suits you if not it shouldn't be too hard to whip something up in Fusion 360 it's actually pretty easy if you're up for it.

If you manage to get an RPi Zero/Zero 2W instead, from this github page (https://github.com/PaulJenkin/PS4RaspberryPi). You won't have to do anything except wait. The RPi simulates keystrokes so it will go to the User Guide and activate the JB all on its own. The only downside is that it's a little slow.
