The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

EDEngineer
yes, lots of people. there are threads about it on the github page actually. heres an example: https://github.com/msarilar/EDEngineer/issues/132
- First time bothering with on foot engineering in over a year... some thoughts on how it could be improved
- Jump range increase

Some general questions for an overwhelmed pilot
this is worth watching https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkr8wWW94dw in conjunction with this https://github.com/msarilar/EDEngineer which lets you set up a shopping cart for end-result engineering and where to get it.

Finally Finished my 70ly Phantom.

Just picked up a Fer De Lance. This is by far the most expensive ship I’ve obtained and I’m completely lost
If you're going to be doing engineering, you might consider using an app like EDEngineer to keep track of what materials you need. EDEngineer lets you pick what engineering you want to do from a list, and then it looks at your inventory and maintains a "shopping list" of materials you need to get for the engineering you want to do.

Material trading Strategies (I.E. specific materials that are used least for most used)
You can use the EDEngineer application to keep track of your ship's materials inventories, what materials you need for specific mods, etc. o7

ED Odyssey Smokes SC
https://github.com/msarilar/EDEngineer <- A great way to make shopping lists for when/If you ever get seriously into engineering.
-
Same thing for me, bought 6 people copies and they don't play because of fetchers/engineers
I'd also recommend using EDEngineer to specify which engineering upgrades you're going for, because EDEngineer will generate you a shopping list of precisely which materials you need (and the list updates itself in real time as you gather mats).
- My first Thargoid fight. Very sloppy, but we made it. What a rush!

Finally Finished my 70ly Phantom.
On PC I use Spansh (https://spansh.co.uk/plotter) for the plotting itself, then AutoNeutron (https://github.com/Numerlor/Auto_Neutron) to copy the star I want to jump to into the game. The key difference when using this tools is to not use the ingame plotting - spansh will give you a list of stars to jump to.

Visited a neutron star for the first time
Automatic neutron plotter if you find using alt tab 100 times annoying

After 5 years on PS4/PS5 I finally reached Beagle Point.
Auto neutron

I've finished most of my work on Auto_Neutron, a tool that helps you plot routes from Spansh
Today I believe I finally got the project into a state I'm relatively satisfied with, so I've decided to share it here, you can find more information on the project's github page

*puts out his space-thumb* Any Fleetcarrier aprox. 3000 Ly from Beagle in the general direction of Colonia to offer a ride?
There's a couple of options for automatically pasting the next jump into your map on arrival. https://github.com/Numerlor/Auto_Neutron is the one i use.

Auto-Copy Next In Route
This is also possible if you use the autoneutron plotter plugin with edmc from here https://github.com/Numerlor/Auto_Neutron

12 hours and over 500 jumps later and I finally made it to Sagittarius A
I use Numerlor's AutoNeutron: GitHub - Numerlor/Auto_Neutron
