You can edit it to NOT remove comments and/or spacing, just edit the PreprocessScript() function.
- After fresh install of Windows+AHK my scripts fileinstall function not working after compiling (not a valid win32 application)

Looking at AutoHotKey, it seems they use UpdateResourceW to embed a script.
