If you're talking about WavesHQ, it is legit. https://github.com/DeFiCh/app for example automatically redirects to https://github.com/WavesHQ/app. Project Waves is a team of product engineers employed by Birthday Research which is the blockchain research and development arm of Cake DeFi.

saiive.live Wallet with Stock & Loans is now available for Windows too. iOS/Mac Versions are in review by Apple. Android already released

This mobile app https://github.com/DeFiCh-WalletApp/WalletApp is currently doing that, as far as I know. You do not have to sync blockchain. This is 100% community effort.

Did what you did for the upcoming app in one afternoon. Data is all being fetched from the chain and calculated in the app. no need for copying addresses or anything.
