    Verify that a report is correct. Maybe there's been a fix and the report doesn't know it. Mostly, I trawl though these records looking at the Changes file (and basically trust they are right). Many authors fix the bug but don't not the text CVE- explicitly so it's a bit harder to discover the fixed versions. In this case, the report is right because RJBS is basically a release manager for the Data::UUID module and not its developer.

A couple months ago, a friend asked me about the module and I thought it sounded interesting. I volunteered to update it, so Renée Bäcker and I did just that. Even the most green Perl developer can help too.
