Dapper VS LocalStack

Using Dapper to get database names from the SQL-Server instance set in appsettings.json

In both samples to get all records and to get a single record works fine but there is a better way to perform the same work using NuGet package Dapper. Dapper is extremely easy to use and built with performance in mind. I will be using Dapper - a simple object mapper for .Net along with MySqlConnector.

I think EF Core & EF are the successors to LINQ to SQL that you'd wanna look into, and/or Dapper if you wanna go lower.

Later you can use any S3 compatible storage because the code I write will still work, but for testing purposes on my local machine, I will use LocalStack:

We've seen so many teams fall into the trap of "someone forgot to shut down dev resource X for a week and now we've racked up a $$$ bill on AWS".

What is everyone's strategy to avoid this kind of situation? Tools like `aws-nuke` (https://github.com/rebuy-de/aws-nuke) are awesome (!) to clean up unused resources, but frankly they should not be necessary in the first place.
