Short answer is you can mod the sprites, yes. You can also mod names, evolution lines, evolution requirements, nfc battle opponents and adventure mode opponents as well as unlockable characters. Custom Pikmin dim finished
Thank you, it turned out great. https://github.com/cfogrady/DIM-Modifier/releases is the tool I used along with Paint where I edited an existing Sprite sheet by NitroPikmin (Google Pikmin Sprite Sheet).

It's not easy, but it's doable. You need to have something like this tho to copy the bin files to and from the PC. https://ko-fi.com/s/ddc17a6052 But it's pretty easy (tho time consuming) to change the names of your Digimon into English. You will need a program to create the new name sprites (I used https://www.aseprite.org), a program to edit the bin files on the pc (https://github.com/cfogrady/DIM-Modifier/releases), then that item linked above to copy the edited bin file to the bracelet. If you don't want to go through the process of editing every one of your Dims, pm me and I can help you with the English modded ones. But you will still need to get your own SD-Sticks and a Programmer.

Question about custom sprites
The program I used to replace the sprites on one of my Dim card files was this: https://github.com/cfogrady/DIM-Modifier/releases/tag/v1.1.1 but I think someone said it only works for dims made before dynasty of evil although I can’t personally say whether that’s true or not. As far as reprogramming the dim you’d need to build the thing from the mr. blinky tool the other person posted

Dim Modifier
Downloaded the exe and the source code, extracted it from the zip, getting stuck on the BE firmware button despite clicking it and assigning the file it’s still there. When I exit the tab, I can’t launch it again, task manager is empty and automatically closes when I try to. Downloaded the reader librarybut not sure what to do with it.
