subtractive saturation effect
My favorite tool for this effect is one I coded up on my own. I’m also selling this one. You can shoot me a DM if you’re interested and I’m happy to point you to it. But if you want to explore a free one I‘d suggest diving into the DCTL of Paul Dore (Baldavenger) called Film Density. I use this one quite a lot too and I‘m loving it: https://github.com/baldavenger/DCTLs/blob/master/DCTL_OFX/Film_Density_OFX_DR17.dctl
