I made a conversion program for updating character/stash files
It's built with C# so it requires .NET framework to run, which should come with Windows. Using the superb D2SLib library (by dschu012 of the slash diablo community), it can be easily updated within minutes for future seasons. Supports characters (.d2s files) from PD2 and vanilla v1.10+ as well as shared/personal stashes (.sss and .d2x files) from PlugY v11.02+.

is there a way to read memory without using pointers?
hey thanks for answering. Well I didn't want to link it as any online game seems to get frowned upon it seems. But I feel i should have prob linked it so ppl could understand better (other learners). They're using an old version of the game to compare with the new game, but I asked one of the devs and they said they didn't store pointers as they didn't use them. https://github.com/OneXDeveloper/MapAssist
