Quad Fortress Intersection Locating
Don't know if I was lucky but I just used Minutor map viewer (https://seancode.com/minutor/) and found one fairly quickly after flying around above the nether roof to create the chunks. I'm interested by the previous comment as it hadn't occurred to me to use a tool/script. Nice.

I wrote a program to convert all my maps into a single image. Zoom in.
Really cool results - always enjoyed having a top-down view of my worlds. Is there a way you can/show use map flags? Otherwise, this looks really similar to Minutor but in the style of Minecraft maps. Still, great work putting this together.

Color Values of Blocks
One way to get a list of colors would be to iterate over each texture and average the RGB colors of every visible (opaque or partially transparent) pixel. I've written code that does this but I'm not sure where it is right now. If you want a reasonably sane list of hex color codes, the source code for Minutor has a list in JSON format here. It lists spruce planks as #684e2f and dark oak planks as #3d2812.
