- Did a game ever not "connect/gel" with you for a petty reason?
-
Theme Hospital didn't age well...
Of anyone wants to play then there is an open source update for it called CorsixTH. Faithful to the original but it works on modern hardware.
-
is Theme hospital free anywhere to download that is relatively safe, i assume the game is freeware these days?
When you play, use the Corsix-TH source port.

[GOG] Winter Classics up to -90%! Heroes of Might and Magic® 3: Complete (75%), Anno 1404: Gold Edition (75%), Prince of Persia®: The Sands of Time (83%), Port Royale 2 (85%), Might and Magic® 9 (80%), Medal of Honor: Allied Assault War Chest (75%) (10-90% off)
The HD mod has not been the recommended way to play the game in maybe seven or eight years. You want VCMI which is an open source reimplementation project similar to projects like OpenTTD, OpenXCom, OpenRA, OpenRCT2, CorsixTH, and OpenMW.
- Will this run on windows 10?
-
Shoutout to the Corsix TH project. Now I can play Theme Hospital on the go.

Aftermath of switching from VSCode to Neovim
All these thoughts I've shared, I would have them on occasion - but ever since I switched to Linux and Neovim, my curiosity has been through the roof. Switching over to Neovim and Linux was a not so fun weekend of configuration and spending half a day getting my work's local dev environment running on my new OS (which no one has tested development on). But I now have a deeper understanding of the tools I use, and have a text editor configured to be the most optimal for the way I want to use it.
