Thanks for the response! Good to know employers are mostly interested in the computational aspect and might be forgiving of lack of bio knowledge. Can you recommend a data source from this page to practice my skills? I was thinking one of the sources from genotyping or gene/protein expression categories. I'm comfortable in Python and R.
