Is it possible to use a JavaScript library inside a Java app?
There are a number of ways. I have no experience setting this up my self, but I have been using a Minecraft mod for years that provides a JavaScript environment for Minecraft client side modding. Information for how to implement can be found here. You do not have to use the language loader or any of the features Kotlin for Forge provides, you can just use it for the bundled Kotlin libraries.
