Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

The $900 "DIY" Associate Of (Computer) Science Degree
Harvard's CS50 via OCW (free) is also a possibility, although Saylor's CSx00 I/II seem more practical than CSx0
- What is the prerequisite knowledge before "just start coding" actually helps?
-
Do they change the criteria for each problem set each year? Or at least change how they describe the process to complete it?
Problemsets from earlier years are available with urls like this https://cs50.harvard.edu/x/2021/

Hey guys, im doing a small project, would appreciate if you could tell me if theres a place I can clarify a lot of my doubts
I am no expert on facial recognition software but I read over an article on https://realpython.com. The site might be a little pricey (to some) but a few people in my Python group highly recommended it. It does have a ton of good tutorials.

Need to Escape My Job
Check out RealPython they were a great resource for me when I first started with Python. Linux skills will always be in demand too, though you might not necessarily find a job for both Python and Linux but I'm sure many exist. When you build a project make sure to document it and have a GitHub page for it, in a way your GitHub will serve as your resume in the software engineering space so take time to learn the platform and Git. More than likely you will also use GitHub or another VCS on the job so it's worth trying to understand.
