A new Booksonic server based on Airsonic. - OBS: The code here might not be ready for release. Feel free to compile it yourself but if so I recommend searching for the latest commit with the description "Prepare for release" (by popeen)

Getting back to the topic at hand. I looked in the Github project https://github.com/popeen/Booksonic-Air but I couldn't find any documentation for the REST API. Is there none or did I miss something?

[Question] App for syncing audiobook progress across multiple platforms?
I don't know of any app that will synch between different devices but I went ahead and set up my own Booksonic server. This allows me to listen through any browser or through the Android app.

searching selfhosted audible
This is a bit of a roundabout solution, but I've been pretty happy with it. First I convert the books to per-chapter MP3 files with AAXtoMP3, then Dropcaster to create a podcast feed of the chapter MP3 files. I just put that behind a simple password protected static file web server, and I can use any podcast client to listen to my books.
