One of the samples here does what you need. https://github.com/jsuarezruiz/xamarin-forms-goodlooking-UI . You can also use the StateLayout im Xamarin Community toolkit to create a skeleton loader. Sharpnado has a skeleton loader as well.

Why should anyone use Xamarin (or etc) if Web Views are almost similar in performance?
