How can someone (in, say, a tech support position) practice Powershell in their spare time?
Recently I got into Wordle and knocked together some code to help me solve it. In the past I also had an issue with sorting my tv shows / movies so put together a project using the API from https://thetvdb.com/ to automagically rename files how I like them, add the episode name to the file (From.S01E10.WEBRip.x264-ION10 > From S01E10 - Oh the Places We'll Go) and move them to the correct folders (C:\TvShows\From)
- I just discovered aliases and I'm looking for more.

Powershell Obfuscating E-Mail address - Funny - Any other such uses that you found interesting?
Something like this might fit what you're looking for. Converts strings to binary represented by 'a' and 'A' instead of 1 and 0 and has a way to convert back.

The weird world of Windows file paths
It's worth learning at any age, especially now that it is an open-source, cross-platform shell. The PS Koans [1] that recently showed up on HN seemed an interesting way to try to learn it.
