End of Life for Twilio Authy Desktop App
I use a browser extension from https://authenticator.cc/
While I do not know whether its UX is similar, it does have a sync feature (but not cross-browser), an export feature, can backup its data to Google Drive, can store everything encrypted (but not by default), is recommended by at least one government website (SSS Employer Portal in the Philippines), and is there for a long time. Oh, and it also remembers which site each secret comes from, and hides others.

Feature Request: TOTP for MFA
Currently, I'm using the Authenticator.cc browser extension on the same device for TOTP. However, I imagine security will eventually tighten and running authentication app/protocols on the same device that is logging in wont be an option.
- MFA not wanted

LifeProTip - You can use browser extensions to bypass the Okta Push notification
The recommended extension is Authenticator, and it is compatible with Chrome, Firefox and Edge.

two factor using authenticator.cc browser extension
I've got a situation where we have a couple of staff that can't install MS authenticator; no smartphone. In some ways I'm jealous of them. Anyway, wife's company is of significant size and she passed off their docs on the issue and they use authenticator.cc browser extension for these situations. I tested it myself, and it works. It's just the raw OTP and not a number entry challenge.

Authy has been hacked, here is how to protect yourself
For Windows, you really aren't going to find anything. The best I could find was a browser extension called Authenticator (no relation) but I cannot vouch for it.

What Chrome Extension apps you use the most?
Authenticator - for sites that have 2-factor authtificator codes turned on, like Amazon.

Ask HN: Is GNU pass and Yubikey (via NFC) supported on iPhone?
Yes you can, you can use the https://github.com/mssun/passforios app which as of over a year ago supports Yubikeys.
The UX of having to grab your Yubikey every time is a bit clunky though (although that is limitation of the security key medium itself rather than the app).

PWM: Bitwarden vs 1Password
But there is, and it supports OTP where if I remember correctly is a paid feature for Bitwarden. https://github.com/mssun/passforios

Cryptopathic: The situation at LastPass may be worse than they are letting on
But who you gonna trust then? It's open source[1] at least, so you can always review it yourself.
But from "paranoid" point of view you can't verify is this is the same code used in app and all of currently available stores lacks in reproducible builds department. So it's always a tradeoff between ease of use and hassle.
