Can 15yr old make Linux distro by himself?
You can take inspiration from Chris Titus, who has made such a custom install script based on ArchMatic. I think it's reasonable that you could achieve this too with some determination. It would be many times easier than Linux From Scratch too… :^Þ

Just followed through with a clean Arch Install, putting btfrs on the root filesystem. If my multitasking increases, btfrs kills the desktop/processes and sends me back to login... Is there no form of fs logging available? Any suggestions?
Hey all, looking for feedback all-around here really, but after leaving Debian, I took a user's recommendation to install btrfs over lvms for the sake of it being Arch, using this guide: https://github.com/egara/arch-btrfs-installation

Are people's claims about arch being unstable and community discouraging updates real? (QUESTION)
For example Buttermanager requires a specific subvolume layout which is described here: https://github.com/egara/arch-btrfs-installation

Trialling Arch for a week
Personally I am using btrfs, grub-btrfs to boot into snapshots and Buttermanager as a nice GUI for all that. If you want to set it up like this, here are step by step instructions that you can follow when you decide to install arch https://github.com/egara/arch-btrfs-installation

First install! feeling pumped
I am not sure if I have enabled snapshots yet, really was just trying to follow this https://github.com/egara/arch-btrfs-installation, I didn't really understand much of the configuration they did. Feels good to have done something at least.
