GSplus (https://apple2.gs/plus/) is an alternate version of KEGS, developed after the original release but before Kent started working on it again. I'm not sure what the current state of everything is, but IIRC GSplus addressed some of the usability issues of the original.

Is there a Windows Apple ][ emulator that doesn't suck?
I'm not huge into the Apple II scene but isn't gsplus pretty much the definitive emulator at this point, given its KEGS heritage?

My dad hasn’t had an Apple computer since the Apple II GS. Somehow I finally convinced him to get an M1 Mac Mini and he loves it :)

Since M1 Mac can run iPad software... this is iPad's Apple IIGS emulator running on my Mac!
