Happy siblings day!
If it says your phone is compatible, download the Joycon emulator from here (however, looks like the recent Switch update broke the app, so you may need to wait a bit for them to update it). You'll also need to get the Amiibo data files from this GitHub page.

How I feel right now...
Here is a link, https://github.com/miffycs/Animal-Crossing-Amiibo press on View Code and scroll down to the bottom, there are the sanrio villagers. Download them and follow the instructions from this YouTube video. : https://youtu.be/ZGgsIJG2Q5w

I feel like I need to play the lottery now. I found Zucker on the very first mystery island I’ve ever went to with the free ticket Tom gives you.
So you basically connects your phone with your switch through Bluetooth using the app, your switch will think its a joycon. Then you install the amiibo animal crossing villagers files. You can download the files here https://github.com/miffycs/Animal-Crossing-Amiibo/find/master

Best way to get all the villagers you want? and Amiibo Card questions.
I use Powertags from codejunkies. you can make a tag any character you want. you just need to upload the characters .bin file to the tag which is pretty simple to do. NFC bank was nuked but they have a link for the bin files here

Odiin a dead project?
Make sure you're "Watching" it on Github, I plan to call this version "1.0" and actually create a release on the project page when I do manage to get it done. (And as always, you're more than welcome to send me an email with any questions!)
