Seems GitHub garbage-collected the orphaned commits: https://github.com/christianselig/Amplosion/commit/08873c773...
I thought those lingered for longer.

Amplosion: US$ 3 for never seeing an AMP again (iOS)
While the extension source is available. The developer deliberately make it non licensed which means it he retains all copyrights and it is not an open source by any useful mean. And he ia quite aggressive about that.

Google's AMP pages/links are outrageously annoying, so with iOS 15 I built a way to block them entirely with an app called Amplosion. It's 33% off for Reddit today, is open source, and as a bonus includes has a Tamagotchi dog that lives in the Settings screen.
Totally fair question as it’s good to be cautious/skeptics. In short: none, you have to trust the app developer. That’s the reason I made the app open source: https://github.com/christianselig/Amplosion

hi test
I'm calling it Amplosion. It's private, with everything happening on-device and it's open source to prove it. And today for Reddit, I knocked 33% off the already low price to make it just $2.
- Hey, I posted about Amplosion over on Product Hunt, would mean a lot if you fine folks could check it out, apparently it's a great place to get eyes on a newly launched app.

[Megathread] Apple releases iOS/iPadOS 15!
Hey Christian! Been using Apollo for a long time. Since you had the original $1 offer (if I remember that correctly). Still loving it. Was wondering if you had heard of Overamped which is another amped application that does the same thing? Have felt like its potentially caused issues with safari but unsure if that was iOS15 beta or the plugin. Also thank you tons for making Amplosion open source. I'm downloading it right now.

The Hidden Cost of Cheap TVs - Screens have gotten inexpensive—and they’re watching you back.
If you have an iPhone you should totally get Amplosion. It’s a safari extension app and it cost like $2 (I think it’s $1.99). It’s by the same guy that made the Apollo Reddit app. 100% recommend that app too. Anyways, Amplosion is Open sourced, so if you want to see what the code is doing you can check it out yourself. I’ve had it for a year or so now and have basically forgotten about it but it has removed like 800+ AMP links and just sent me to the original link without AMP.

Amplosion will no longer be open source

He probably deleted the repo and recreated it. It's still available at https://github.com/mdpauley/Amplosion though, although I can't vouch for its authenticity.
