Yo this official Reddit app fucking sucks
Currently using patched Reddit 2023.08.0 from here https://github.com/purp0s3/Tweaked-iOS-Apps with all the junk filtered out, Apollo was much better but it’s somewhat usable

You could Sideload a tweaked Reddit app without ads. I‘d recommend RedditFilter. https://github.com/purp0s3/Tweaked-iOS-Apps Still, the app itself has the same shitty experience but at least without ads.

Install the app from the App Store and then install the modified one over it in TrollStore. Works for me and I just used the rocket ipa from this link: https://github.com/purp0s3/Tweaked-iOS-Apps
