Don’t believe me? Check out the interactive gui stuff at https://alex-hhh.github.io

Which internet website do you recommend to use to learn C?
Check out this guy's page I just came across here. He's got a bunch of gui based Racket applications that look really cool.

Is there a self-hosted compatible fitness tracker (like a fitbit)?
I use and like Activity Log 2 - https://github.com/alex-hhh/ActivityLog2. You can import most common file formats like TCX, GPX and FIT.
- alternatives to strava

How do you track fitness from a privacy perspective?
This https://github.com/alex-hhh/ActivityLog2 works quite well for FIT files on desktop.

Just a random thought. Strava should be the new instagram
If you just want to track your workout data, there are far better softwares/websites to do it, I mean strict data analysis. As you don't give something to social part, could be great. GoldenCheetah , Github-ActivityLog2, TrainingPeaks:WKO5, Runalyze

Strava without Google Maps.. Solutions ?
As suggested I can record my activities from my watch/bikecomputer, and sync later, there are some apps who is kinda nice: GoldenCheetah, Runalyze, TrainingPeaks/WKO, Github: ActivityLog2, but I have not found a own-private-local cloud solution... OsmAnd+ and LocusMap are doing a good recording job as well, have not check if those recorded track/activity can be shared/transfered easily on a owncloud.

Is a smart indoor trainer and zwift subscription better than a gym membership? Pros and cons? I'm leaning toward the trainer and zwift.
Flux is free and open source: https://github.com/dvmarinoff/Flux

Simple, reliable smart trainer app
I need some app to do my planned workouts indoor. The problem is my smart trainer reads 40-50 watt lower compared to the powermeter I use outdoors, so doing workouts would make them way harder than they need to be. Zwift has a nice feature to adjust the power on the go, but it doesn't work in the background, and I am fed up with the app crashing mid-intervals. The Flux browser app (https://flux-web.vercel.app/) works great, simple and reliable, but you need to adjust the power every time you start a new interval, which is fine for longer ones, but impossible for shorter ones. Most of these virtual apps are quite expensive for the times I ride indoors, 2-3/month, and I honestly couldn't care less about the virtual stuff. I'd rather watch a tv show or something.

Kickr snap set up
Flux https://flux-web.vercel.app/ can be used to create+run custom workouts. It's free, and you don't even have to install any software - it's a web app. I've used it once and can confirm that it works.

Putting my subscription to bed until the snow flies again. But is there a free alternative that I could use the couple times I'll wanna spin when the weathers bad?
Since nobody has mentioned it yet: Flux. It just runs in a web browser: https://flux-web.vercel.app/

What do you use for indoor Trainingpeaks workouts?
Flux

Can you run a zwift workout using only Companion?
And we are not talking about a new application, the Companion app already manages to connect to trainers, it is implementing the workouts locally, something that if it can be done in an open source website like https://flux-web.vercel.app/ I don’t think should be too difficult for Zwift team

GoldenCheetah, or alternatively https://github.com/dvmarinoff/Flux or you can just use your headunit (assuming you have one)
