Output from DSC resources
I was scripting today, using a ADManagedServiceAccount. https://github.com/dsccommunity/ActiveDirectoryDsc/wiki/ADManagedServiceAccount the last attribute there is a "DistinguishedName" marked as read. Do anyone have any idea how to access it?

What is the current status of PowerShell DSC?
I don't know about DSC as a whole but key modules certainly are completely abandoned so the usefulness of DSC, whether dead or not, is pretty limited because you need those resources and modules in order to do anything with DSC.
