Need help with downloading this game to my Android phone
There is an unofficial port to MacOS. AFAIK the launcher only works if you compile from source, but this should work without much hassle: https://github.com/Miepee/AM2R-Autopatcher-Mac

Mac is kind of in a weird state right now. The easiest way right now is to use the CLI autopatcher to apply mods: https://github.com/Miepee/AM2R-Autopatcher-Mac The readme there has instructions on how to use mods (just throw them into the mods folder)

If you have a Mac you can use the unofficial autopatcher to install the mod and generate an apk

Good games without a mouse?
AM2R! It's one of the most replayable games I've ever replayed! There's an unofficial Mac version, it runs great, and it's an incredibly fun game!

Looking for a 2D sci-fi similar to Metroid for MACOS. What about 'Outpost Delta', 'A Robot Named Fight' and 'Dark Light'? What of them is more similar to Metroid?
Might I recommend AM2R? A few months back an unofficial macOS patcher was created that creates a fully native Mac version (no wine or virtualization or anything) It literally is Metroid so thats about as close as you can get https://github.com/Miepee/AM2R-Autopatcher-Mac

What are some game refs and emulators to get for my m1 pro
P.S. I should probably also mention the games I have running not on emulator. Minecraft works flawlessly (I believe a native M1 version was released recently). My Steam library isn't very large, but I've got Dead Cells and Terraria working great with native Mac versions, and I can run Risk of Rain 2 (with some pretty major graphical issues) through Parallels. As I said earlier, the original version of Halo CE actually works great through Parallels. And finally, if you're into 2D Metroid, (even if you're not, I recommend giving it a try) AM2R works perfectly through the macOS Patcher.

I’m checking to see if this is still working does anybody know how to download.. AM2R for Mac because I wanna play it and I just wanna make sure there’s like any update information can anybody pass the information to me I just wanna try to get them out.

The Horde Mod released!
I made a video to celebrate the release of THE HORDE. It's an AM2R Mod that primarily focuses on what would happen if SR-388 was infested by Hornoads. It definitely contains much more than just frogs though, so go check it out! Windows, Linux, Android and Mac are supported. NOTE: This mod is not for complete beginners. It's highly recommended that you already 100%ed AM2R before. Having played through Fusion difficulty also helps.
