Installing a driver for Wifi USB adapter?
git clone https://github.com/morrownr/8821au-20210708.git
- Tp link drivers for Kali

Linux is the best operating system. Move from Windows 11 to Linux!
However I attempted to switch to Ubuntu 22.10 yesterday. Didn't go so well because my computer uses a wireless adapter that probably isn't really popular. It's a Realtek Wireless Adapter 8811CU with 5ghz and 2.4ghz connectivity. There isn't much driver support and I found a few repos to help add drivers. All the repos I tested were outdated with the current kernel for Ubuntu 22.10. (Kernel is 5.19). I found one repo, but the internet connection is extremely slow. Click for repo. So I ended up going to bed that day and waited tomorrow to probably switch back to Windows or use a lighter version of Windows like tiny11.

Cannot get Wi-Fi or Ethernet working for the life of me.
I am not sure what drivers you used, but these seem to be the latest for that device. https://github.com/morrownr/8821au-20210708 That URL also mentions some settings to check on your Router, and even then that driver site suggests you dont use the That device.

Ubuntu 20.04 keeps crushing and sometimes won't even boot
I installed it on a new empty ssd. It automatically installed some drivers but it couldn't detect the wifi adapter so I manually installed these drivers from github. Other than that, I've only installed a few stuff for my university courses and discord. I'm not sure but I think the issue started when I installed the drivers.

- Hi I bought an Wifi adapter for Kali Linux its an AC1300 and am having trouble connecting it to Kali linux can someone help please?

Faster, newer network adapter has terrible packet loss but the old, much slower one doesn't
To me this sounds either like bad drivers or bad hardware. There is a reasonably easy way to rule out drivers; test it in linux. Unfortunately this card is not supported by the kernel, however there are drivers available on github. You can test this in a "Live Linux" environment, where you do not have to install it to disk, all you should need is a USB stick and some patience.

Girlfriend installed Mint, now cannot connect to Wi Fi
Given that a T3500 didn't come with WiFi back in 2011, I'm guessing this is a USB network adapter. Maybe try this github repo. https://github.com/cilynx/rtl88x2bu

Best WIFI adaptors monitor mode?
git clone https://github.com/cilynx/rtl88x2bu.git

Newly installed Fedora KDE cannot detect my wifi usb
https://github.com/cilynx/rtl88x2bu Seems like you have to compile these drivers to get the adapter working. I also have a TP-Link wifi adaptor and TP-Link doesn't support the newer Linux kernels and they haven't added it to the Linux kernel by default so it's a bit of a pain to get this working. But if you can figure it out and get it working congrats lol

Really slow wi fi on the linux mint 21.1 cinnamon
Is the relevant information... The issue is the rtl88x2bu driver that is built-in to the kernel... It isn't very good. You could consider an alternative driver like https://github.com/cilynx/rtl88x2bu using these instructions.

Wireless adapter Kali Linux
If you are running Kali bare metal or if you have allowed USB pass through then it is most likely a driver issue. Take a look at this repo.
- i have a wifi adapter but it wont show networks help????
- How do I install a linux wifi driver?

Wifi usb dongle not working
You'd first need to tether your laptop to your phone, then install the kernel headers (sudo pacman -S linux-headers), choose the one that matches your kernel version. Then install this driver. It's in the AUR. Make sure you get the one that says "DKMS" on it.
What are some alternatives?
