Backup btrfs from one openwrt device to another openwrt device
Apparently, there are many various alternatives. btrfs-backup seems promising given it's a bash script and apparently doesn't have dependencies.

Bash-Snippets: A collection of small bash scripts for heavy terminal users
I guess this is OK for beginner developers, but for the long-term, I recommend only using repos like this for inspiration, and not for daily use.
Take a look at this script for example: https://github.com/alexanderepstein/Bash-Snippets/blob/maste... -- 257 lines, self-update function, tricks for functionality, a few encoding bugs. Instead, if you are sure you have "curl" installed, this entire thing can be made into 1-line script:
curl qrenco.de/"%*"
What are some alternatives?
rsync-time-backup - Time Machine style backup with rsync.
Scripnix - Useful Python3 and bash shell scripts for macOS/BSD and *NIX. Useful to me, at any rate. YMMV.
borg-cron-helper - Helper shell scripts for BorgBackup to automate backups and make your life easier… 😉
wp-backup - Snapshot and backups for WordPress in pure Bash
linux-timemachine - Rsync-based OSX-like time machine for Linux, MacOS and BSD for atomic and resumable local and remote backups
weather.sh - A bash script to get the weather from OpenWeatherMap and output to the terminal, Openbox, or HTML
restic-wrapper - Simple bash wrapper to source .env configuration files for Restic. Facilitates both manual CLI execution and scheduled (cron) execution.
gimmeSH - For pentesters who don't wanna leave their terminals.
grub-btrfs - Include btrfs snapshots at boot options. (Grub menu)
backup-mysql - Export all mysql databases in singular database_name.sql.gz file and archive all dumps in a tar.xz archive file.
backup-to-device - backup custom directories and mysql databases to an external device
