Took about 6 months, but I flippinโ did it!!!!
Learn JavaScript Basics at https://codedamn.com/learn/javascript-basics seems to cover more than enough of the basics for someone to dip their toes and be able to keep the momentum going. Funny enough, I am doing it this very moment and it starts simple and gets more advanced as you go though it. The teaching approach is like learning a programming language for the first time, but given that the syntax is different, that can bes useful. An additional source would be https://github.com/Asabeneh/30-Days-Of-JavaScript which I will start doing later this week. Having the knowledge acquired from the aforementioned course as well as CS50 itself, the 30 Day JS would serve as an additional set of exercises to test and apply one's knowledge while learning a few more tricks during the process.

Need Opinion on Manuskript and essay software
I want to use Manuskript (https://github.com/olivierkes/manuskript) since the novella that I am writing is not very linear, so I though this program will help me. Instead of trying to write on Ms. Word or G-docs.

Looking for a novel plotting software.
I'll jump on the wagon to promote manuskript. It's technically still in alpha, but it's functional enough to work with, and getting more people interested might help the development. It's open source and cross-platform and has lots of interesting features (some of which I still don't know how to use).

Campfire Writing?
I suggest either Manuskript or, as mentioned, Scrivener. If you can deal with the Markdown formatting, Obsidian is an extremely powerful solution, albeit at a steep learning curve.
