2FA question
I have desktop 2FA TOTP app as a backup. Even if you have a backup, depending on one app/service is crazy. I relied on a password manager, but it's database got corrupted, backups as well.
-
Good TOPT apps for Windows so I can keep Bitwarden even more secure.
There is also this, 2fast (https://github.com/2fast-team/2fast/). Relatively newer, options are minimal, but for 2FAs, it did the trick.

Tell me about your must-have first and third-party apps for Windows 11. Anything goes, both free and premium

Authy or Aegis(using android emulator) for 2fa in pc.
there is 2fa app for that https://github.com/2fast-team/2fast/ (Windows) https://github.com/flathub/com.belmoussaoui.Authenticator or Bitwarden. why bother with emulator?

What’s your 2FA solution?
I prefer a simple offline Authenticator 2fast, backed up by MSA.

Sparkle: A software update framework for macOS
Also, as a different approach, to some degree Ferdium can act as a central place for various messaging platforms even if the integration that Pidgin (and Adium) and libPurple provided is not possible this way. Station is similar and a bit better but is in desperate need of developers. Both are FLOSS.

Is there a place to suggest software you'd like to be on the AUR? If not, let it be here!
I've moved on to Ferdium by the way via the ferdium-electron AUR package. I also use Tuta, Skiff, Google Messages and YouTube Music with it.
