    Project mention: First Year As a Dev | dev.to | 2021-03-18

This last thing I knew already, but I have to reinforce it every so often: take breaks. I use a Pomodoro timer to make myself remember to take breaks, but I am very guilty of putting that off for just “one more thing.” I thought that I would be working at my desk writing code from 9-5. That is not how quality code is written. Everyone knows that taking breaks is a good thing, that it lets you clear your head and come at a problem from a different perspective, but it’s hard to do in practice. It’s something that I think a lot of developers struggle with, but using the reset of a break really does help me get more things done.

  • GitHub repo Mycodo

An environmental monitoring and regulation system

    Project mention: Experience/Opinions on Aerospring? | reddit.com/r/aeroponics | 2021-05-14

There isn't anything I could recommend and I haven't searched for new and exciting aeroponic systems in a while. There was someone posting here for a while (/u/bifarm I think) that designed a system and was selling them at bifarm.com which seemed kind of cool. I don't think they're selling them anymore however but I'm not sure. Their site is still online. If it doesn't have to be aeroponic then the developer of "mycodo" has a cool automated system build which you can find here: https://github.com/kizniche/Mycodo. He actively develops the software and is very helpful if you are interested in building your own system and using the software.

A version of LiveSplit that works on a lot of platforms.

    Project mention: LiveSplit One Won't Save Anything Anymore | reddit.com/r/speedrun | 2021-04-06

Ok so I use LiveSplit One for my splits, which is an online version of livesplit (it also has a kind of app form). The other day I cleared my cookies manually, leaving out the thing that I would use frequently like youtube, discord, etc. which includes one.livesplit.org. So I didn't clear the cookies for it, but the next time I went to go and use it, everything had reset as if I had cleared its cookies. And it won't save anything anymore. This includes splits, hotkeys, layouts, etc. I really don't want to export and redownload and set everything up every day. I don't know why it does this can anyone help please?
