pgtt
pgtt is a time traveling tool for PostgreSQL to help speedup development and testing of various applications by enabling the user to easily travel between points in time. This can be useful when for example you have to test a certain mutation multiple times and want to quickly rollback to before the mutation to make changes to the behaviour and test again. This will save time and avoids setting up the data over and over again, especially in larger applications with complex data and flows.

Project mention: What are some of the best libraries you cannot work without? | /r/node | 2023-06-08I haven't seen fs-extra mentioned yet. For my work it involves a fair bit of reading/writing to the filesystem, so this makes it quite nice to deal with everything in an async way.
Project mention: Launch HN: Onedoc (YC W24) – A better way to create PDFs | news.ycombinator.com | 2024-03-11I'm facing that same pain point of programmatic PDF filling. I noodled around in the PDF format and learned it's a bit difficult to deal with fonts and formatting. But I think this client-side library works well enough, as a start: https://pdf-lib.js.org/#:~:text=a%20single%20document.-,Fill...
I've also heard of one paid API that I forgot but seemed to work well, and this related service https://www.jotform.com/, and I also considered porting some server-side libraries to WASM. One day I'll collect all the libraries and findings in a blog post.
Are you looking to programmatically fill any PDF form by detecting the fields? Or are you filling one known PDF template?
EF Core Bulk Extensions has helped me out many a day.
Project mention: macOS Command-Line Tools You Might Not Know About | news.ycombinator.com | 2023-06-27Extra handy when combined with `piknik`[1] for distributed/cross-Apple account clipboard shenanigans.

I just read through the 65LOC source, and it's because it swaps out an active or inactive extension icon based on your active tab.
