Best way, circa Q4 2022, to get data from mobile (Android AND iOS) to Arduino device WITHOUT making a bespoke app?

I was hopeful that Web Bluetooth might be a solution, but going by its implementation status, it's blanket unavailable on iOS. I've looked up other solutions but ones I've found either require downloading a unique app (eg Bluetooth For Arduino) or a straight-up cable connection.
