23andme raw data project ideas
Kind of unrelated but reminded me of this analysis I carried out on a family member's gut microbiome sample from unseenbio ( european at-home-test-kit that generates WGS paired end read set of stool sample). I assembled genomes from metagenomes, created sample specific metabolic models, and predicted metabolic interactions within communities using metaGEM https://github.com/franciscozorrilla/unseenbio_metaGEM

Almost zero serotonin producing bacteria, wat do?
Having said that, I think unseen bio is the best one out there because they do whole metagenome shotgun sequencing instead of amplicon sequencing. They even provide you with the sequencing samples so I ran my own analysis on them here, using these methods.
