Window template
I did something like this in one of my practice projects that you can find here. The example that I'm referring to is in SunroomCalculatorAvalonia -> Views. Look at the MainWindow.axaml line 30. That's where I change the view in the middle of the main window to different views when the user presses a button. The view model for the main window does the logic. In the view model the user control is set at lines 14 and 129 (private and public get/set). The logic to change the view starts on line 145.
