Weekly Megathread: Hiring and Career Advice
I saw some rankings our there that rank quant prop shops/ hedge funds (e.g. https://github.com/quantprep/quantnewgrad2022), but they do not include the automated market making / electronic trading position at banks, which are similar in roles. For example, MS's AMM team is often considered the best, which tier would it be placed on the above rank? I know that comparing different roles is way more complicated than a ranking, but a general perspective would help a lot.

Trader Focused vs. Algorithm Focused firms, founding firms
Going off of this [site](https://github.com/quantprep/quantnewgrad2022/): for the top smaller firms (Aquatic/Radix/Ansatz/Headlands/TGS/PDT), am I correct in thinking that they tend to be the least trader focused and more algorithm heavy? Is it possible to break in after undergrad?
