Is it a bad idea to share a class library project between multiple applications?
You're signing up to maintain a framework. The code in the common libraries needs to be understandable by everyone on the project, and is ideally well-documented with inline xmldocs (which show up in IDE popups). You also need strong versioning discipline so teams don't randomly update Package.XYZ from 3.0.2 to 3.0.3 and see a million compiler errors (I'd recommend nbgv with semver).
