To tie or not to tie ? How would you prefer it being written ?
I did a (mediocre) arrangement (pdf) for my a cappella group ~5 years ago using it. I started the arrangement in a GUI program and then exported to lilypond. I ended up taking a, long time to clean up the source, but I think I still saved time. However, I ended up making significant revisions, which are very tedious to do with the text-based format. I tried the GUI editor (split pane between the source and the PDF), but I ended up just using a standalone PDF viewer and text editor.
